For all shipments in Europe and the UK, VAT and customs costs are included in the retail price to ensure faster shipping times and a transparent purchasing process. For shipments outside Europe and the United Kingdom, the customer is responsible for VAT, local taxes, and the cost of customs clearance. The customer will be contacted for tax payment once the customs clearance process has started. Tax rate varies depending on local regulations.

All orders containing watches are shipped via DHL from Chiasso, Switzerland. A tracking number is provided after shipping. For orders of accessories and straps, customers can choose between express shipping via DHL or regular shipping via Swiss Post.

Squale ships worldwide. Orders for delivery in Alaska or Hawaii may take longer to process. Please be advised that Squale does not ship to PO boxes, military bases or hotels.

Our watches are shipped directly from Chiasso, Switzerland. Delivery times vary from country to country. Express Shipping Orders placed by 2 PM (CET) Monday to Thursday are shipped within 5 working days. Orders placed Thursday evening, Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be processed on Monday morning. During special promotions, the process may take longer. All shipments require the signature of an adult at the time of delivery.

If you wish to cancel your order, you can do so through our e-boutique portal. If your order is already being prepared, please contact our customer service. Upon receipt of a cancellation request, we delete the order from our system and, if necessary, contact the courier to request that the package be returned to our warehouse. Once we receive the package and a full refund is issued to the customer’s account, the buyer is notified by email. The process takes 5 to 7 working days. If an order has already been shipped and the courier is not able to send it back, we will provide the customer with instructions for a return. If DHL does not offer this service in the customer’s country, we strongly recommend returning the product via insured shipping via a local shipping company. Squale's main objective is customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return any item purchased online at www.squale.ch, unworn and undamaged, via courier within 14 days of delivery, and a full refund will be issued. Items must be original and undamaged. Any watch that is not returned with the original seal intact or that does not pass the quality control by Customer Service (for example if it is scratched, worn or damaged), will be returned to the customer and no refund will be issued. Mechanical watches have many moving parts that are lubricated to reduce friction. Over time, these lubricants degrade and need to be replaced. Replacing lubricants, cleaning and adjusting your watch are part of a maintenance service that should only be carried out by qualified watchmakers. Even the seals that guarantee the waterproofness of the watch degrade over time. For most Squale timepieces, we recommend having the watch serviced every 2 years.

For most new Squale watches, we recommend servicing every 2 years, or whenever there is a noticeable change in performance. This largely depends on the usage time, but even if the watch is not worn daily, maintenance service is still recommended as small dust particles can enter the mechanism and lubricants deteriorate over time. We recommend that waterproof watches that are regularly used underwater be tested for water-resistance every year.

Yes, all Squale watches can be repaired. However, some repairs might require specific parts that may not be immediately available, thus extending repair times. In this instance the customer is immediately notified and given an estimate of how long it will take to complete the repair.

For technical and quality reasons, we supply spare parts exclusively to partners in our international network. The Assistance Centers are available to all our customers and guarantee a professional service, compliant with our high quality standards.

The procedure for repairing a watch is simple. Access our website and, in the Services/Contacts section, select the Product Repair item (link: https://www.squale.ch/it/riparazione-prodotti). Fill out the form with all the data relating to your request and, once completed, you will be contacted.

Squale offers a 2-year warranty period, which covers defects in materials and workmanship ("defects" present at the time of delivery of the watch). During the warranty period, the owner of the watch has the right to have any defects repaired free of charge. If Squale deems the repair to be unsuitable, a replacement with an identical or similar Squale watch is guaranteed. The warranty is only valid if the watch was purchased from an authorized dealer or if the owner has officially registered the warranty on squale.ch. The following are excluded from the guarantee: 

• Normal wear and tear caused by use and aging, such as scratched glass, alterations to the color and/or texture of leather, fabric, rubber straps, etc. 

• Damage due to failure to comply with the recommendations for use provided by Squale. 

• Damage caused by improper, abnormal and negligent use, neglect, accidents, impacts, etc. 

• Damage resulting from improper interventions carried out by assistance centers not authorized by Squale. 

• Changes made to watches outside of Squale's control. 

• Additional warranty services offered by a direct seller, such as a reseller. 

• Indirect or consequential damages, such as those resulting from a stoppage or inaccuracy of the watch. 

The warranty does not limit your rights provided by law.

We guarantee the functionality and quality of our straps right from the factory. However, over time, leather, fabric or rubber straps may show signs of aging, which are excluded from the warranty as well as damage caused by wear and tear or normal use. Frequent contact with water or sweat can accelerate the wear of a leather, fabric or rubber strap. Titanium bracelets can also scratch more easily than steel ones. In the event of manufacturing defects, take the defective strap or bracelet to an authorized Squale dealer for inspection. Depending on the case, the dealer will contact Squale.
